Manipulated Editing The Next Food Network Star

Movie: 2046 (2004). Director: Wong Kar Wai. Length: 120 min. Location: The Biographer. Time: 21:30. Company: Lelo, Karla Daniela and Kri. Quote: "All the memoriesyou are traces of tears'

This is the second film I see of KWW and I must admit that I liked. Seen before 'In the spirit of love' (2000), the predecessor of 2046 in a kind of trilogy whose first part is, as I have understood, "Days of Being Wild" (1991), I have not seen and do not believe this in Chile, so I'm not bitter. Both films have a very similar line and demonstrate mastery of the director to choose angles and infinitely makers really aesthetic, and well, both films are, among many things, an aesthetic experience, the pleasure of the image is something that at least I have never seen exploited in this way. This gives a continuity and an atmosphere that allows forsomewhat less linear structure, not so messy, but the images are pure as capable of saying, as any dialogue. And I'm not saying that talks are not good, because they are. At first it seemed strange and a bit annoying not understand anything of what they said, having to rely on a translation unknown, and we accept, often translations often leave much to be desired, of course no choice but to accept or understand nothing, period, is better translated. One thing that was evident in language in 2046 is that the characters speak different languages, yet are without problems, something like a linguistic utopia. Cantonese, Mandarin and Japanese as a Chilean, argentino and English speaking. I imagine it would be like if everyone spoke in their language and yet the ear of the receiver can decode your own language. Farewell to language barriers, welcome real communication, global village without trampling on the cultures, chimera. 2046 seems to be a great utopia, which could be and was not, and will not be. The men go there in search of lost memories, go to the future for my past, where nothing changes, but the truth is that nobody knows, because no returns, except him. By the time he decides to accept that no one can explain what went wrong, no one could give him the love lost, if even the beautiful android, crying the next day.

I call attention to several things in the works. First, it highlights the curious fact that almost all the characters are almost always smoke and smoking. What KWW achieved through this is remarkable, it becomes a recurring aesthetic component of the image, each breath is beautiful, every cloud of smoke is an art. Highlight the image in which the eldest daughter of hotel smoke in slow motion. Secondly, one of the things that struck me is the relationship between true love and platonic, as opposed to explicit sex. To properly explain this I speak a little & amnever see a kiss, a scene with some erotic, nothing, but the excitement is present and is not that we hint that something will happen and is not shown, the camera blurs, the camera does not escape, it diverts look. In 2046 that limit is definitely violated, but just right, two kisses, a sex scene, a few more just suggested. Remarkable. KWW physical is not important, true love is in the feeling, one that is not consumed in that it can not be accomplished, that is their conviction, that is his greatness. The inability to love is dormant, there is a desire, a need, but love that does not really transcends consummated, that it succeeds because it disappears in the act, is empty. All thislargely relates to one of the thoughts raised by the protagonist pretty much sums up the atmosphere of the work. He says he does not help find the right person if time is not right, so that gut feeling does not always guarantee success. The life itself proves the main character, his great love is never consummated, and that can happen, either. The only thing left is to lie with the actual occupant of Room 2046, Bai Ling, played by Zhang Ziyi, that really falls in love with Chow, but that's not enough for the never going to be able to give what she needs . All of this permeated by a relationship in which both seem to be the customer who buys sex for a nominal fee, $ 10 cover to say thatroblemático, the utopian and non-classical forms, from a futuristic perspective at times, sometimes purely literary and visual moments. It is best as it comes really to love without touching it. Five lizards.
